Tour FAQs
Is the tour really free?
Yes, completely free. We are buyer's agents and builders pay our commission. There is zero cost to you for the tour or for our representation throughout the buying process.
How long does a tour take?
A full community tour typically takes 2-3 hours. A focused tour of specific builders can be done in 1-2 hours. We work on your schedule and can adjust the length based on your needs.
Can I visit model homes on my own?
Yes, most builder model homes are open to walk-ins during regular hours. However, touring with an agent has key advantages: we register you with each builder (protecting your right to representation), provide honest comparisons, and know current incentives across all builders.
What should I bring to the tour?
Just bring yourself and comfortable shoes for walking. If you're pre-approved for a mortgage, bring your pre-approval letter as some builders prioritize pre-approved buyers for inventory homes. We'll handle everything else.
Can I tour on weekends?
Absolutely. We offer tours 7 days a week, including weekends and evenings. Weekends are our most popular times as all model homes are fully staffed.
Do I need to be pre-approved to tour?
No pre-approval is needed to tour. However, if you find a home you want to purchase, having a pre-approval in hand will strengthen your position, especially for move-in ready homes.
